Hilde Van Mieghem is a Belgian actress, director, and writer who made her film debut with Vrijdag (1980) and built a rich career in both film and television after graduating the renowned Studio Herman Teirlinck in Antwerp.

Her notable acting roles include films such as Blonde Dolly (1987), Kafka (1991) and numerous television series including Vermist (2007) and Tabula Rasa (2017).

Beyond acting, she has directed films such as De kus (2004) and written and released her debut novel De drie duifkes in 2022, a family saga inspired by her own life.

Fluent in Dutch, English, French, German, and Italian.
Holds a valid EU passport for international travel.
