Genc Jakupi studied at Herbert Berghof Studio in NYC, then moved to Paris to attend the Esteemed École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq and then did courses at LAMDA in London. He fled the war in Kosovo and lived between Paris, London and New York.

Genc then went back to Kosovo to play the Lead character Flamur in the feature film named DRITA,
which had its premiere at the Zurich Film Festival. His next project would also see him write and direct the film DUR GUR
MUR, which tells the story of a young boy journeying through a train station. The film had its premiere at the Kosovar film festival DokuFest.

Besides the above mentioned projects, Genc has had appearances in feature films like BLEED FOR THIS and YOU WON'T BE ALONE opposite Miles Teller and Noomi Rapace respectively, as well as THE WALKING DEAD: Daryl Dixon.
Genc currently lives and works between  New York, London and Paris.
