Francesco Libero Silverio Filpa was born in Rome at the end of 1995. During the hot Roman summers, he worked as a camp counselor, a role that introduced him to theatre through sketches created for children. Meanwhile, he completed his studies in engineering, competed in water polo at a professional level, and practiced every other sport that would repeatedly land him in surgery. He travelled extensively—first to Argentina, then Africa, America, and Australia; only places starting with the letter A.

He developed an interest in astronomy, but in 2021 he decided to attend the Point Zero theatre and film training workshop, where he delved into Greek tragedy, Elizabethan theatre, and Chekhov, performing in Uncle Vanya and The Seagull. That same year, he took part in acting masterclasses led by Giorgio Sangati and in casting workshops with directors Maurilio Mangano and Giulia Apolloni.

In 2022, he was part of the cast of the short film The Legend of the Three Film Cameras, presented at the “Fuorinorma” Festival. From 2022 to 2024, he attended the improvisation course Personcine, held by Giovanna Mori at Carrozzerie n.o.t.

In 2024, he starred in the short film The Motorcycle by Matteo Giampetruzzi, selected for competition at the 40th International Critics’ Week (SIC@SIC), as part of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival. He continued his training in 2024 by participating in sessions directed by Michèle Lonsdale-Smith.
