Francesca Della Ragione, born and raised in Rome, is an actress, director, producer, and writer. She made her cinematic debut in 2003 with Leonardo Pieraccioni’s Il Paradiso all’Improvviso and later collaborated with directors such as Paolo Virzì (La pazza gioia), Alessandro D’Alatri (Il commissario Ricciardi), and Nicola Barnaba (Ciao Brother).

In 2020, she won Best Emerging Actress at the Terra di Siena Film Festival for La Banda dei Tre, also receiving the Vincenzo Crocitti Award. She made her directorial debut in 2021 with the short film Regalo di Compleanno, a finalist at Tulipani di Seta Nera RAI.

In 2022, she won the MiC screenplay grant for La Guerra di Elena, produced by Titanus and Rai Cinema in 2025. She also appeared in I Racconti della Domenica, The Christmas Show, and Piove.

In 2023, she wrote and directed the documentary Può solo andare meglio on over-indebtedness, presented at the 80th Venice Film Festival, and directed the short Silenzio Assordante for the national anti-bullying center BULLI STOP. That year, she starred in Sergio Basso’s film Cercando Itaca and in the short FIABEXIT.

In 2024, she filmed La Primavera by Toni Trupia and the short Il Maritozzo. Between 2024 and 2025, she appeared in Netflix’s series RIV4LI (spin-off of DI4RI), directed by A. Celli, and in Luca Lucini’s film Stella Gemella.

She is currently working on the documentary Tagliato per Vivere and will direct her third short film, Break the Silence, in July 2025. She also appears in Alessandro Parrello’s short Dolcemente.

Founder and acting coach at Be Talent Academy, she is the voice and face of the Autostrade per l’Italia campaign against gender-based violence, featured in the podcast Donne Interrotte on Loquis.
