Fabrizio Falco is an Italian actor and director, born in Messina on August 20, 1988.
After high school, he moved to Rome to attend the Silvio d'Amico National Academy of Dramatic Arts, graduating in 2010. Immediately after his studies, he became one of the main actors for Luca Ronconi, taking part in shows such as Il panico, La celestina, and Lehman Trilogy. He also collaborated with Carlo Cecchi.
The year 2012 marked his film debut. At the Venice Film Festival, his performances in Daniele Ciprì's È stato il figlio and Marco Bellocchio's Bella addormentata won him the prestigious Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best New Actor. Three years later, in 2015, he won the Ubu Award for Best Actor Under 35. In recent years, Falco has enriched his artistic career by combining acting with directing and playwriting. He has directed plays acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, such as the monologue Molière Uanmensció, and made his film directorial debut with the short film Capelli. Today, he continues to effortlessly divide his time between the big screen and the stages of the most important Italian theaters.
