Esmée Dekker is a Dutch actress, singer, and dancer of Indonesian and Moroccan descent. From a young age, she was passionate about music, theatre, and dance. She studied at the Frank Sanders Academy for Musical Theatre in Amsterdam.

As an actress, Esmée has appeared in major musical productions such as My Fair Lady, Evita, Grease, The Rocky Horror Show, Lazarus, Saturday Night Fever, and West Side Story. For her work in musicals, she received several nominations and won an award for her role as Rizzo in Grease for Best Supporting Actress. In 2026, she will appear in the production 40-45 in the role of Leah.

In addition to theatre, Esmée has also appeared on television. She played roles in popular Dutch series such as Brugklas and Welkom in de jaren ’70s/’80s.

Besides acting, Esmée also performs as a singer. She sings various styles including soul, jazz, pop, and R&B. She regularly performs at concerts, festivals, weddings, and special events.
