I was born in 1981 in Central Switzerland and grew up in the Engadine region in the 1990s. I'm therefore an avid winter sports enthusiast, but I was also always involved in the theater group at the Lyceum Alpinum high school in Zuoz. In 2001, I decided to pursue acting training in Zurich, followed by further studies in New York, which I completed.

 

Alongside this, I developed an affinity for and a strong interest in the organizational and production aspects of filmmaking. To understand the logistics and processes, I completed various assistant jobs on sets and at festivals. These aspects of filmmaking became increasingly important and exciting to me.

 

As the assistant to producer Ruth Waldburger at Vega Film AG, I was able to tackle these tasks for the first time. Nevertheless, I was eventually drawn back to the set because I missed the artistic and directorial aspects.

 

As 2nd Assistant Director, I was able to combine many tasks and was therefore always in direct contact with the actors, the scripts, and the on-screen performance, in addition to logistics and organization.

 

My last position as a producer at Filmgerberei GmbH ended in late July 2022 after five months, as I met my husband and we were soon able to fulfill our wish for a child. This also finally allowed me to take my long-planned "break from acting." Now I'm eager to act again. I'm happy to take on small episodic and day-long roles. My passion lies in impersonating people, but I also have a soft spot for classic crime dramas like TATORT.
