Dolphi Danninger was born in Vienna into a family that was passionate about art and music.
Countless theater and opera performances shaped his childhood. He was accepted as a student in the ballet of the Vienna State Opera, learned to play the piano privately, completed the preparatory singing course at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna and finally studied architecture at the TU Vienna as well as singing, song and oratorio at the former Vienna Conservatory with distinction.
His interest in non-European architecture took him to numerous countries, including Mexico, Java, Bali, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, Venezuela, Thailand, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore, the east coast of North America, South Africa, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong and Morocco.
He then worked on various projects in cooperation with baukultur, pos-architekten, bürowien, lc-events, archimedia zt gmbh, among others, and won several invited architecture competitions.
With the founding of his own office, the 3rdskin architecture gmbh (2006) and the Kultursalon Niederleis in the eastern Weinviertel (2017), he was able to successfully combine all of his expertise and interests and create unique architecture and convey culture with liveliness and enthusiasm.
The new hall of the KULTURSALON NIEDERLEIS was built in 2020 (ba 3rdskin) and he developed more than 65 different concert programs for which he was responsible for the dramaturgy, reading and accompanying video presentation.
