Dinis Gomes is a Portuguese actor who began his artistic path in dance, having attended the Dance Course at the National Conservatory.

In theatre, he worked with Luís Miguel Cintra at Teatro da Cornucópia in the 1980s as a child, later returning regularly from 2003 until the company’s closure. Over the years, he performed in works by Shakespeare, Chekhov, Pirandello, Jean Genet, Edward Bond, Gil Vicente, Camões, Lope de Vega and many others.

He has also collaborated with directors such as António Pires, Christine Laurent, Bruno Bravo, Andresa Soares, Maria João Luís and Ricardo Aibéo.

Dinis is a member of the Associação Sul theatre group, alongside Rita Durão, Sofia Marques, Duarte Guimarães, Ricardo Aibéo and others.

In cinema, he has worked with filmmakers including João César Monteiro, Raoul Ruiz, João Botelho, Teresa Villaverde, Margarida Gil, Tiago Guedes, Fernando Vendrell and Pedro Pinho, among others.

Alongside his acting career, he has been active as a DJ since 1990.
