Dinarte Branco is a Portuguese actor who has performed in productions directed by Luís Miguel Cintra, Jorge Silva Melo, Joaquim Benite, Ana Nave, Sandra Faleiro, Nicolau dos Mares, Francisco Salgado, Pedro Carraca, Ricardo Aibéo, Miguel Seabra, Tiago Rodrigues, Christine Laurent, Carlos J. Pessoa, Marco Martins, Adriano Luz, Solveig Noderlund, Pedro Marques, Nuno M. Cardoso, Beatriz Batarda, Nuno Cardoso, Nuno Carinhas and António Pires. He also took part in Point Blank, a production by the Belgian company STAN.

Within SubUrbe, alongside Tiago Rodrigues and Cláudia Gaiolas, he performed in the collective creations Zapatistas am/pm, A gente vê-se lá fora, and True West. His artistic direction includes César, based on Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. He directed Ricardo Araújo Pereira in How to Do Things with Words, and staged 82 oãhivaP, inspired by the universe of David Lynch; The Zoo Story by Edward Albee; É Preciso Ir Ver – Uma Viagem com Jacques Brel with Nuno Costa Santos; co-directed O Escurial with Tiago Nogueira; and directed I Don’t Belong Here, a stage piece on deportation, also serving as producer of the documentary of the same name. He directed and performed Máquina de Emaranhar Paisagens, based on Herberto Helder, and staged The End of Eddy, adapted from Édouard Louis.
