Back in secondary school in Iran, I felt rather setting aside my passion for acting due to the post-revolutionary anti-Western propaganda. In exile, I revived it through Persian radio drama for the Iranian community in Uppsala, then moved into Swedish touring theatre focused on labour themes. My stage credits include Open Couple, Ward No. 6, The Father, and The Tears of the Blind. I appeared in It’s a Free World/Golden Zenith, For a Moment Freedom/Golden Lion. Recent projects: Persistence, Tehran (Season 3), Midnight Drop. Inspirations: Rumi, Hafiz, Khayyam, Orwell, Demidov. Paddy Chayefsky
