Born in Paris, France, in 1985, to a Portuguese mother and a French father, David Personne lived his childhood in Lisbon from ages 5 to 20, where he began his acting experience, starting with small roles in films, series, and commercials at age 10, and joining the main cast of the soap opera “Jardins Proibidos” at 14, working regularly in TV and film for the next six years, before moving to France at 20 for theatre training at LEDA in Toulouse, getting accepted into the Stella Adler Studio in New York in 2009, graduating in Acting in 2012, working with the Worcester Shakespeare Co. and The Living Theatre, developing a multidisciplinary One Man Show, returning to Portugal in 2017, and continuing work in TV, ads (Auchan, Porto Editora), theatre (The Lisbon Players, PYRA Teatro), and his own comedy/music show, "David Personne"
