Born in England, Claire Olivier grew up in an international environment in the UK, the Ivory Coast and the USA. She began her actor’s training at the Children’s Theatre in Minneapolis, before moving to Paris to pursue her studies at the international section of the Cours Florent. She simultaneously completed a Masters in Theatre Studies at the University of the Sorbonne Nouvelle. She continues to train regularly with the Susan Batson Studio in New York, Berlin and Paris.

She performs on stage in Paris and London and her work in theatre includes: Balm in Gilead, by Lanford Wilson, directed by Lesley Chatterley, LazyFury232323, written for her by Alice Eve, directed by Sophie Lifeschutz, Seed Bank, written and directed by Jess Moore, Pericles, by W. Shakespeare, co-directed by Michael Corbidge of the Royal Shakespeare Company & Christina Batman, Nous l’Europe, Banquet des peuples, by Laurent Gaudé, directed by Roland Auzet.

Claire's work in film and television in France has been directed by Juan Pittaluga, Alexandre Castagnetti, Dorothée Sebbagh, Nath Dumont and François Roux. She has also been a part of miscellaneous European and international co-productions, directed by Emmy-nominated Andrew Alden, Kirsten Russel, and more recently, Henrik Ruben Genz (DNA for Arte), Jacques Audiard (The Bureau for Canal +) and David Morely (Luther for TF1 & BBC Studios).

Over the years, she has also worked extensively as a voice artist in both English and French. 

Claire is also currently working on writing her first feature as well as a one-woman show. She is particularly interested in the impact and power of personal narrative on the self.
