Charlotte De Bruyne is a Belgian actress born on September 11, 1990, in Ghent. She began her acting journey at age 12 with the youth theater Kopergietery in her hometown. In 2008, she joined the theater company Ontroerend Goed, becoming a core member and contributing to internationally acclaimed productions such as A Game of You, A History of Everything, and Fight Night.

De Bruyne made her film debut in 2012 with Little Black Spiders, earning the Ensor Award for Best Debut. She gained further recognition for her role in Flying Home (2014), which garnered her the Ensor Award for Best Actress. Her filmography includes notable performances in Behind the Clouds (2016), Calico Skies (2016), Niet Schieten (2018), Tori and Lokita (2022), and When It Melts (2023), where she portrayed the adult Eva.
