Caroline Imhof grew up in a bilingual Swiss-German and French environment. She studied classical singing and piano at the Geneva Conservatory of Music before training at the cours Florent in Paris and later at La Manufacture – University of Theatre of Western Switzerland in Lausanne, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre in 2013.

In theatre, she has worked with Philippe Ulysse, Blaise Ubaldini, Charlotte Huldi, Denis Maillefer, Maud Blandel, Guillaume Pilet, Nicolas Rossier, Marine Colard and Fabrice Melquiot. In 2020, she co-wrote, co-directed and performed in On n’est pas venues les mains vides!, a tragi-comic stage production exploring manipulation and power dynamics within the theatre world. The piece was selected as a semi-finalist for the Premio Migros Culture Percentage Award 2019 and subsequently toured French-speaking Switzerland.

On screen, she has appeared in films and TV series by Frederik Maarsen (Durchschaut), selected for the 55th Solothurn Film Festival in 2020, Michael Schaerer (Frieden), and Delphine Lehericey (Les Indociles), winner of the Swiss Award 2022 for Best Storytelling. More recently, she appeared in À bras-le-corps (Silent Rebellion) by Marie-Elsa Sgualdo, selected for the 82nd Venice International Film Festival in 2025.
