Caroline Brésard starts acting when she is 18, playing classical young premiere roles in a theatre company. She takes classes in Paris with Niels Arestrup at
L’ Ecole du passage and also the Actor Studio with Paul Weaver and Blanche Salant. In both schools, she trains acting in English and really enjoys it. 

 

Ten years later, she meets three guys and together they set up a group of comedians called « Les 4 » and they start a wonderfull adventure. All fond of the Monty Pithon, they write, direct and play absurd sketches for Radio (on « Oui FM » and « Rires et chansons »), on stage (The prestigious « Café de la Gare ») and they are part of the famous french TV daily show (« La Grosse Emission » with Kad et Olivier and Alain Chabat). Meanwhile, she is also humorist and columnist on TV (« Thé ou Café » on France 2) for 2 years. 

 

When « les 4 » splits up, she takes a break from acting and keeps on writting for TV short programs and Cinema movies (« Thousand Words » with Eddy Murphy produced by Dreamworks). She directs short movies and documentaries and also works as a script doctor.

 

Then acting comes back on TV and Cinema (« Cent pour cent cachemire » from Valérie Lemercier, « Scènes de ménage » on M6, « Baron noir » on Canal + or “La faute à Rousseau » on TF1). Now, she is writing a play and a cinema movie (“Satisfaction”  from Laurent Boutonnat) you can see her on stage ( The succesfull «  Pour le meilleur et pour le dire » from David Basan).
