Carmela Bonomi is a multilingual actress with Malagasy, Swiss, and Italian roots. She trained in Musical Theatre and refined her acting at IDSA London. She speaks fluent German, English, French, Swiss German, and Italian.

Her recent work includes:
 • Jorin din Jubai in The Wheel of Time – Season 3 (Amazon Prime / Sony Pictures)
• Yuzu in the Swiss feature film Kalbermatten (Serafin Films)
• Lead role in TRAPPED, an independent UK dance film
• Leon – Glaub nicht alles, was du siehst (GZSZ spin-off)
• The surreal dramedy by Susanne Heinrich (prequel won Max Ophüls Prize 2019)

With a background as a professional dancer and additional skills in horse riding, motorcycle riding, climbing, freediving, and snowboarding, Carmela brings strong physicality and versatility to her roles. She’s passionate about storytelling, collaboration, and bringing joy through film.
