Bridie Latona is a multi-award-winning actress and filmmaker passionate about emotionally rich, visually poetic stories that explore compassion, healing, and our connection to animals and nature. Born in the Nightcap Rainforest in the Byron Bay hinterland, Australia, Bridie has lived half her life in London, England, and Los Angeles, California. She is of Irish, English, Italian, French, Scottish and Scandinavian descent, and holds dual Australian and Italian citizenship. Bridie trained extensively in acting, earning a BA (Acting) from (QUT), studying at the New York Actors Studio under Elizabeth Kemp and the London Actor's Studio. She has been recognized for her performances with Best Actress awards at London's Rob Knox Film Festival and the Warner Bros. New Filmmakers Awards. Bridie wrote, directed, and starred in Edge of the Earth (Toronto Lift-Off, Byron Bay IFF, Three Fires IFF), and co-wrote and starred in A Brunette Kiss (End of the Pier Festival, UK). She often appears as the romantic lead in fantasy, period dramas, and romantic comedies. A devoted animal lover and vegan advocate, Bridie channels her creativity and compassion into projects that inspire, heal, and celebrate the natural world.
