Beatriz Garrucho is a Portuguese actress and multidisciplinary artist, born in Coimbra in 1994 and based in Lisbon. Her work spans the performing arts, with a strong presence in theatre and performance.

In 2012, she began a degree in Audiovisual and Multimedia at ESCS. In 2016, she entered ACT – Escola de Atores, completing the professional training course in Acting. In 2021, she presented her first creation, O Laranjal, at Rua das Gaivotas 6, serving as artistic director, costume designer, set designer and performer.

In 2022, she premiered her second creation, ÁGUASMIL, also at Rua das Gaivotas 6, as artistic director, dramaturg and performer, additionally conceiving the visual and scenographic universe of the piece. ÁGUASMIL toured in 2023 in Olhão (Algarve) and Idanha-a-Nova (Castelo Branco). That same year, she presented Ostras, por favor! in Paris, within a 36 Degrées curatorship.

In 2024, she debuted Stabat Mater com Aroma a Pêssego in Porto, as artistic director, scenographer, dramaturg and performer, under the curatorship of UMA-Plataforma.

As an actress and performer, Beatriz has worked extensively across theatre and performance. Her credits include Jornalismo, Amadorismo, Hipnotismo by Rui Catalão at Teatro Nacional D. Maria II; Gatilho da Felicidade (2017) at Teatro Maria Matos and Romance Familiar ou a Realidade Aumentada (2019) at Culturgest, both by Ana Borralho & João Galante; Bioluminescência (2019) by Filipa Matta, filmed for RTP; Kebra3000 (2021) by Jaja Rolim at Espaço Alkantara; Seventh Heaven by Caryl Churchill, directed by Diogo Freitas (2021); Cosmic Money Healers by Luísa Mota at Galeria Nuno Centeno; DEUS É TRANSCENDÊNCIA ATRAVÉS DO CORPO (2022) by Roxana Ionesco at Zigurfest; and Morte às Fantasmas by Roxana Ionesco at Latoaria (2024).

In television and film, Beatriz starred in A Série (2021) for RTP Play. In cinema, she appeared in the feature GREICE (2021) by Leonardo Mouramateus and in Croma, o Sono (2022), a short film by Pedro Huet.
