Bart van de Goor, born and raised in the south of the Netherlands, spent many years of his youth acting in a variety of stage productions with regional theaters.

He enrolled in acting courses in the Netherlands and Spain, led by renowned Dutch film director Ruud van Hemert. Shortly thereafter he was accepted into the the international acting program at the world famous Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles, California, where he studied with a group of teachers across a variety of disciplines.

During a brief period back in the Netherlands he booked a national commercial as well as a single episode guest role on the longest-running Dutch soap opera: "Goede tijden, slechte tijden", before moving back to Los Angeles for the long-term. During his stay in the United States he participated in a multitude of short films.

Bart spent 20 years in Los Angeles, working at companies such as Nickelodeon and Disney. In 2022 he moved back to the Netherlands. Bart is available for projects internationally in both Dutch and English.

Aside from his formal training, Bart continues to explore and study different methodologies, such as Meisner, Hagen, Adler and Chubbuck. He is known as a committed actor who takes his craft seriously. Much of his time is dedicated to research, script and character analysis, and working with writers and directors on creating and bringing to life well-rounded and complex characters and stories.
