Born in the Netherlands with Caribbean roots, Amber graduated with honors from the THOPSS Theatre School in Amsterdam, where she studied dance, acting, singing, writing and program creation. She toured Holland with her first solo show, How to Read a Person Like a Book, worked extensively as a singer and presenter, including the Royal Theater in Amsterdam and the North Sea Jazz Festival, and founded the gospel group Heavenly Harmony.

Her international career began with starring roles at the Musical Dome in Cologne as the Killer Queen in We Will Rock You, Lady of the Lake in the German premiere of Monthy Python's Spamalot and Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray. 'A streetcar named desire' with Claudia Bauer as her Director in the role of Eunice in Wuppertal. In Berlin, her adopted home, she took on the role of soloist in the grand shows at the Friedrichstadt-Palast: Show Me, Berlin Erleuchtet and the hit show: VIVID.

Amber also frequently performs with the Big Band of the Deutsche Oper, as well as in her 2nd one-woman-show 'Wo das Herz schlägt'. 
She directed and co-wrote Carrington-Brown's anniversary program '10'. 
Amber was seen as Oda Mae Brown in the musical 'GHOST' at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. She was one of the divas in Priscilla - Queen of the Desert at the Gärtnerplatz Theater in Munich.

Amber is a stage and performance coach at the University of the Arts Berlin, the youth ensemble of the Friedrichstadt Palace, and professionals: from singers to CEO's.
