Amanda Bråthen is a norwegian actress and boardmember of the theatre organisation Oslo English Players (OEP). She has played in numerous plays and short films and has a bachelor in acting from Norsk Skuespillerinstitute(2023).  Besides her work as an actor she writes, produces and directs her own projects.
When she is not acting herself she teaches acting at Danvik FHS. 

Filmmakers she has been coached/ directed by include David Nutter, Paul Johansson, Matthew Hastings, Kristoffer Hivju, Kirk Baltz and Line Verndal. 

She trains stunts with teachers from Norway Stage Fight Society, and loves to be physical, whether it's physically demanding characters, dancing, carpentry work or long walks in the mountains. 
As a teenager she worked professionally as a dancer on TV and various events in Norway. 

Amanda is current this fall as Helle Svendsen in “Svendsen Catering” at Brageteateret(2026).
