Alenka Kraigher is a US/EU dual citizen and multilingual screen actor working across Europe, the UK, and the United States. She recently completed a nine-month lead role on the Slovenian prestige drama series Nemirna Kri. Her feature work includes The Space Among Us, for which she received the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Slovenian National Film Festival. Her next film, The Lost Son, is currently in post-production.

She spent twelve years in New York, performing extensively in theatre, including starring opposite Willem Dafoe at The Public Theater under the direction of Richard Foreman. Her performance was named one of The New Yorker’s Top 5 of the Year.

Alenka works in fluent English with a neutral, hard-to-place accent. A native Slovenian speaker, she is also fluent in Spanish and Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian, with working Italian and French, and basic German. Her on-screen work spans grounded prestige drama, emotionally complex leading roles, and subtle, off-centre comedic characters in international productions.
