Aaliyah Thanisha Philipp, a talented 23-year-old artist from Berlin, discovered her passion for dance at a young age, excelling in various styles and gaining international recognition. Starting her career as a freelance dancer and model during school, she later immersed herself in subcultural dances like voguing and dancehall, becoming a prominent figure in Berlin's ballroom and dancehall scenes. Aaliyah later expanded her artistic pursuits into DJing dancehall music, co-founding the successful all-female DJ collective "Pretty Gang". With a mission to elevate the representation of subcultural dances and BIPOC voices in the art scene, she continues to make waves as a dynamic performer and artist, bridging the commercial and artistic worlds with her unique blend of talent and creativity.
