Johanna-Elisa Lemke was born in Berlin (DDR). She studied dance in Berlin and Amsterdam.
She has performed on various national and international stages. She works as a choreographer,
performer, actress and dancer in various art, film, music, theater and dance projects.
In theater, she has choreographed alongside Rebekka David, Nora Abdel-Maksoud for works by
Falk Richter, Thomas Ostermeier, Katie Michel and Wojtek Klemm.
As a performer and dancer, she currently works with Boris Charmatz/Terrain/TTW and the new
creation of Solène Wachter.
Johannas latest creation „PunkDrumLove“ was premiered in November 2024 in DockArt and she
is working on her new creation „LABdance“ to premiere in Oktober 2025.
She plays the role of Agnė in the film of Gabrielė Plukaitė „Expecting Paradise“(2025).
Collaborations with various artists from different artistic fields include: Henri Maximilian Jakobs,
Soléne Wachter, Ayat Najafi, Boris Charmatz, Constanza Macras, Jeremy Shaw, Thomas
Ostermeier, Katie Michel, Falk Richter, Wojtek Klemm, Ms-Schrittmacher, Club Guy and Roni,
Marco Santi, Jens van Deale, Sultans Court, Felix Ruckert, Tino Sehgal, Isa Melzheimer, Rebekka
David, Frank Willens, Justin F. Kennedy and Emma Waltraud Howes, battle Royal, Helgi Jonsson,
Robert Lippok, Bernadette la Hengst, Nora Abdel Maksoud, the members of Team Volume and
Guests.
She is the bandsinger of the berlin based synthesizer Band „Room Service“.
