I'm Miguel Álvarez, a Spanish actor based in Madrid. My most recent projects, over the past two years—2025 and 2026—include the TV series “Fightland” by American producer Curtis 50 Cent for the Starz network, which premieres on July 31, where I play Amado Rodríguez, a Mexican drug lord who appears in four episodes; in February aired the second season of the German series “Oderbruch” on the German national channel ARD1, which won the award for Best Fiction Series at the South International Series Festival 2024, where I played the violent vampire Cristóbal. I’ve also appeared in the eighth and final season of the Scotland-set series “Outlander” as the ruthless Spanish pirate Sebastián Vásquez, also for Starz (in Spain on Movistar+). Right now, I’ll be filming this summer on the second season of the Antena3 television series “Física o Química. La nueva generación.”

In recent years, I’ve appeared in national and international television productions such as “The wheel of time” by Sony Pictures TV for Amazon Prime Video, alongside Rosamund Pike and Álvaro Morte; “The English” by All3media, directed by Hugo Blick and starring Emily Blunt for HBO MAX; Simon Barry’s “Warrior Nun” for Netflix, “La novia gitana” directed by La novia gitana and its second season “La red púrpura” both for Atresplayer Premium, and also in Michael Caleo’s series for Paramount+ “Sexy beast.”

Other projects aired in Spain include “4 estrellas” for RTVE, “Mía es la venganza" and “La encrucijada” by Secuoya Studios and Ay Yapim, both for Mediaset, among others.

I ride horses professionally and have competed at the national level in show jumping. I also enjoy skiing, skating, swimming, scuba diving (OWD), and singing (light baritone).
