Meira Durand was discovered as german actress age eight by producer Uschi Reich for “Here comes Lola!”, an adaption of Isabel Abedis beloved book series. She continued working with Reich on the classical fairy tale “The Star Money”. Also essential for her so far work is her role as the runaway girl Emily in "Für immer und Dich", directed by "Treasure" director Julia von Heinz.

Meira has sung in Berlins “Komische Oper” and later in Munichs Bavarian State Opera during her childhood and teenage, gaining various experience on stage with these children’s choirs as well as a soloist. The passion of acting and singing that had come into her life with the playfulness of a child has made her commit to acting itself as a young adult and remains as step stone for her approach to acting.

She has recently lived in Paris, joining the coursflorent to collect experience with acting in English and French and in early 2025 she joined the Spring Term at the "Lee Strasberg Film & Theatre Institute Los Angeles" to further explore her palette of acting skills. Asking her what she would wish for in the near future, she said: "I am looking for extraordinary and fearless stories and people who likewise commit to the crafting in an unconditional way. If I could choose what next I would love playing a sci-fi agent or a mysterious witch. But more than all I am hoping for surprises."
