I’m Maryana Bodnar, Ukrainian actress and singer, working internationally in opera, operetta, musical theatre and dramatic plays. Born in Ternopil, Ukraine, she received her vocal training at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, continued advanced studies in Vienna, and completed a postgraduate program at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London (2025). 

On stage I was mostly focused on leading roles in theatre and music theatre productions. Her repertoire includes principal and title roles in productions such as Morticia Addams (The Addams Family), Lilly Vanessi/Kate (Kiss me Kate), Sweet Sue (Some Like It Hot), Theodora Verdie (Die Zirkusprinzessin), Venticelli and opera singer (Amadeus), Woman in various embodiment of 8 epochs (plastic drama "The Ball"), Leading role in drama Moskalytsya, “Play 22” etc. I’ve also collaborated with national theatres and concert companies, combining classical vocal technique with dramatic and stylistic versatility.

In theatre I’ve created and curated several music projects such as "Mysteries of the Foggy Albion" and “Authentic UK Music. Birmingham–Kyiv”​​​​​​. Since the war started created several beneficial concert in support of Ukraine and performed with famous British classical singers, musicians and orchestra ​St.Martin's in the Field Academy. The most important event is already 3 years in a row "Special Christmas Carol concert" which participation of important political and cultural personalities of the UK and Ukrainian communities.

I have experience in playing on screen in some series and commercials.

I speaks Ukrainian (native), English and Italian (fleuntly), German and Polish (intermediate). Based in Europe.
