Marina Palii is a Romanian-Moldovan actress based in Bucharest. She is fluent in five languages (Romanian, Russian, French, Polish, English), which brings a unique versatility to her work.
Her feature film debut came with Cristi Puiu’s Malmkrog (2020), a film that won the Encounter's Best Director ar Berlinale 2020, where she played Countess Olga — a performance that brought her a nomination for Best Leading Actress at GOPO National Film Awards in Romania. 
Selected for Sarajevo Talents (2020) and Berlinale Talents (2021), her work has been presented at major international festivals, including Berlin International Film Festival (2020), Venice Film Festival (2025), TIFF Toronto (2025) and Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (2025), reflecting a consistent presence in auteur-driven European cinema.
