Edith Kaupp Rivadeneira was born in Tumbaco, Ecuador in 1995 and grew up in Heidelberg, Germany. She gained her first theater experience as an extra at the Heidelberg Theater and the Nationaltheater Mannheim. After a year in London, where she worked as an au pair, among other things, she lived in Berlin for a year and attended acting courses. From 2018 to 2021 she studied acting at the Zurich University of the Arts and received the Armin Ziegler Foundation's award in her final year of studies. During her studies she spent a semester abroad at the Escola de Teatro in São Paulo. She values ​​collective working methods and process oriented working. In the 2021/22 season she was in an internship year at the Chemnitz Theater. Since autumn 2022 she has been studying for a Master's degree in Acting/Performance at the ZHdK. From autumn 2024 to spring 2025 she spent a holiday semester in Bogotá, Colombia, to do a Doula apprenticeship. Currently she is studying Theatre and Performance at Trinity College Dublin.
