Colette Nussbaum is a Swiss actress through and through and has been at home on stage for decades. Swiss audiences know her best from the Theater am Hechtplatz in Zurich, with productions such as Alles uf Aafang, Ab die Post, Polizeiruf 117, from the Kammerspiele Seeb, the Fauteuil Basel, the Sommertheater Winterthur and from tours throughout Switzerland. In
Peter Luisi's Bonjour Switzerland, currently the most successful Swiss film, which also premiered on Netflix at the beginning of June 2025, she can be seen alongside Beat Schlatter, and she played Gilles Tschudi's partner in the TV series Dr Störefried. Her career began with a leading role in Space Dream, the most known and successful Swiss musical of all time, which also earned her a Prix Walo and a platinum CD, followed by several theatre and TV productions
in Germany. Since 2020, Colette Nussbaum has been teaching acting to children and young people at Bellacademia, and this spring she rediscovered singing and has been practising daily ever since, with the aim of soon appearing in musical productions.
