As completed the Theater Course at the National Conservatory in 1957.

She worked at the Company Rey Colaco - Robles Monteiro, the National Theater D. Maria II, where she was for seven years. She debuted in the play The Witches of Salem. She also entered the Carmelite Dialogue, O Tartufo, Jesus Process, Frei Luís de Sousa, Tá-Mar, among many other pieces. She was at Companhia de Luzia Maria Martins, Teatro Maria Matos, Teatro da Trindade, in the company of Francisco Ribeiro and also did Teatro Comercial, Vasco Morgado, Estufa Fria, Teatro Avenida. She returned to the National Theater D. Maria II in 1979 until 2001.
