Michal Axel Piotrowski is a Swedish actor, currently seen in the Swedish movie "Syndabocken" ("Shame on Dry Land") by Axel Petersén (“Avalon”, “The Real Estate”) – the world premiere in the competitive Platform section of Toronto International Film Festival 2023. The movie has won 7 Swedish Film Awards (Guldbagge) and was in the shortlist for Swedens submission to the The Academy Award for Best International Feature Film. Michal Axel is also seen on Netflix in the mini-series “Clark” directed by Jonas Åkerlund.

Since 2006 Michal Axel has performed in several theatre and music-theatre productions, mostly in Stockholm, where is based. He is best known for the role of Prince Ragnvald in “Baba Yaga” (Ung sce/öst), James St. James in “Dö klubbdöden” (Dramalabbet) and Billy Bloom in the critically acclaimed and Scenkonstgala-nominated monologue “Billy Bloom – ensam som Gud” (Turteatern & 4:e teatern). 

Michal Axel was one of the scriptwriters of the popular Swedish comedy TV-series “BAUTA” (on SVT) in which he played various roles. In 2018 “Bauta” was nominerad for the Swedish Comedy Award in the category of the Comedy TV-show of the year.
