Francesca Domenichini is a French-Italian actress who works in film, television dramas, and contemporary stage productions at the intersection of theater, performance, and movement.
Her work is characterized by a subtle balance between strength and vulnerability. She develops a deeply embodied style of acting, both intense and precise, where physical engagement supports a strong inner life. This approach allows her to interpret complex characters, marked by tension, resilience, and ambiguity.
On screen, she has worked under the direction of Pierre Schoeller, Guillaume Senez (In the shadows), Tristan Séguéla (Class Act), Dominique Rocher (Daughters) and Nobel Prize winner Gao Xingjian, participating in projects driven by a true auteur vision, while also taking part in major international productions such as Emily in Paris.
On stage, she has collaborated with numerous companies and major figures in international creation such as Romeo Castellucci, Benoît Jacquot, Robert Carsen, Groupe F, and Teatro del Silencio. With more than 1,000 performances across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, she has solid experience in contemporary creations.
Speaking French, Italian, English, and Spanish, Francesca has developed an artistic practice that is open to the international scene, working on unique and demanding projects in a quest that is shaped by artistic processes and encounters.
