Nicolas began his training as an actor in theatre at the age of 13. This is how he grew as an actor with the collectives: Theater aan de Stroom and Koma-ar Producties. In 2011, Nicolas began studying American acting methods. Soon after, he studies with renowned acting coach John Flanders.

At the Flanders Acting Studio in Brussels, he became skilled in the Meisner and Chubbuck technique. After this adventure, Nicolas wanted to delve further into authentic acting and experiment with other techniques. Thus, he personally attended intensive workshops led by. Ivana Chubbuck. Afterwards, he went to New York to work at the Esper Studio attending the Meisner technique training and "Advanced Mask Workshop".
