Hey, I'm Jarno - nice to meet you.

After winning every round of the reading competition from school to state level as a sixth grader and then being a member of the Aachen Theatre School's youth theatre club and DasDaTheater Aachen for a long time (and I was also passionate about performing on stage during my high school years: with acting, stage show & moderation) - the leap to film was only logical: after a few smaller projects for streaming and television, I got the chance to take on a main series role ("Pumpen", ZDF) for a good four months - what a special and enriching experience!

Inspired by this, I am looking forward to everything that may come - be it a historical costume film or the role of an insane psychopath... I'm curious to develop unusual characters and take part in interesting projects. With my further training in audio book & dubbing (SprecherAkademie, Vienna) I am also looking forward to opportunities to prove myself in this field - my enjoyment of different dialects could be useful here.

Apart from acting, I am passionate about cooking international and creative dishes and travelling to countries near and far. Thanks to the language focus I chose in my school days (bilingual French, English advanced course, four years of Spanish) and my open-minded and communicative nature, I quickly come into contact with fellow natives and other travellers. Sport is also an integral part of my life: whether it's weight training all year round, basketball in the park or mountain hikes on holiday - exercise helps me to unwind and recharge my batteries. I'm looking forward to exciting programmes and I'm definitely enthusiastic about them!
