Born in 1994 in Grottaglie (Taranto, Italy), he began his theatre training with director and actor Alfredo Traversa. After graduating from a classical high school, he moved to Milan, where he was admitted to the School of the Piccolo Teatro, founded by Luca Ronconi. He graduated under the guidance of Carmelo Rifici, studying with leading Italian and international artists including Luca Ronconi, Massimo Popolizio, Peter Stein, Declan Donnellan, and Lev Dodin.
Alongside his training, he began his professional career. In 2015, he joined the cast of Ragazzi di Vita, directed by Massimo Popolizio and produced by Teatro di Roma, a production that won the Ubu Award and the Le Maschere del Teatro Italiano Awards. The same year, he was selected by Antonio Latella for the Venice Biennale workshop, culminating in the performance La Terra Trema.
In 2017, he graduated with Uomini e No, directed by Carmelo Rifici, in which he played one of the leading roles. In 2018, he took part in Eimuntas Nekrošius’ workshop-performance Richard II at the Napoli Teatro Festival and portrayed the Son in Six Characters in Search of an Author, directed by Emiliano Masala. He later completed advanced training at the Centro Teatrale Santacristina with Massimo Popolizio and Declan Donnellan.
In 2019, he was cast as one of the co-leads in the Sky Original series Romulus, directed by Matteo Rovere, returning for its second season in 2021. In 2020, he appeared in An Enemy of the People, directed by Massimo Popolizio. During the 2022/23 season of the Piccolo Teatro di Milano, he played Cosimo, the title role in The Baron in the Trees. In 2026, he debuted at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto and the Almada Festival in Portugal in Platonov by Anton Chekhov, directed by Peter Stein, followed by an Italian tour during the 2026/27 season.
