Xiaonan is a UK-based actor and theatre-maker working across film, television, and live performance. Her practice is rooted in contemporary visual theatre. She is drawn to unconventional movement and authentic, embodied expression. Her work explores the interplay between language, environment, and time, often giving voice to what is overlooked or forgotten.

Her recent stage credits include Anatomy of a Doctor (Camden People's Theatre) and Woo Woolf (The Cockpit). On screen, she played Fei/Mei in the award-winning short film Shé (Snake) (BBC), and appears in Black Doves (Netflix).

She is a co-founder of Ensemble Not Found, a theatre collective, and is actively engaged with cultural organizations advocating for feminist perspectives in the arts.
