Óscar Morchón began his artistic training at the Conservatory of Music in A Coruña, where he graduated in Piano and Composition. He later moved to Barcelona, where he studied acting at the Nancy Tuñón Studio and trained in the Meisner Technique with Javier Galitó-Cava, while also earning a degree in Architecture from the UPC. During this period, he worked as a pianist and singer at the 7Notes piano bar, performed as an actor in various theatre productions and ESCAC projects, and co-founded the company Arsperversus, with which he produced and co-starred in The Shape of Things by Neil LaBute.
After moving to Madrid, he furthered his training at the Centro del Actor and with teachers such as Assumpta Serna, Fernando Piernas, Tamzin Townsend, Manuel Morón, and Susan Batson in New York, among others. He also trained in jazz dance, tap dance, horse riding, and vocal technique with José Masegosa.
He made his television debut with a regular role in O Faro (regional channels), and has since appeared in productions such as Tiempos de guerra (Antena 3/Netflix), A Estiba (TVG), La línea invisible (Movistar+), The Mallorca Files (BBC), Rapa (Movistar+), Operación Marea Negra (Prime Video), and 4 Estrellas (TVE), among others.
In theatre, he has worked as an actor, pianist, and singer in shows such as Lo tuyo y lo mío (Pequeño Teatro Gran Vía, Nuevo Alcalá, Príncipe Gran Vía, and tour), Todos (Teatro Lara), and The Learned Ladies by Molière (tour).
His most recent work includes series such as Marusía. Vientos de honor (Telecinco), where he plays Professor Llamazares, as well as others like the second season of Clanes, Los secretos de la cortesana, and Lobo, all for Netflix.
