Owain Yeoman is an award-winning actor, writer, and producer with a cross-industry career spanning
premium television, film, international reality formats, and emerging AI-driven educational platforms.
Educated at Oxford University, The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), and King’s College London,
Yeoman brings a rare blend of classical training and modern production fluency to every project.
As an actor, he is best known globally for his series-regular role on CBS’s The Mentalist, with additional
major credits including Troy and American Sniper. Behind the camera, Yeoman is currently developing
and producing scripted projects for leading U.S. networks and production companies, including “ARA”
and the development of a scripted Formula One comedy inspired by the life and legacy of Mario Andretti.
Recent unscripted and factual slate work includes international reality series such as Eating Inn,
SBS / Netflix Australasia, relationship reality series “Mandate” (ITV USA) with
producing partner Elan Gale (The Bachelor, F-Boy Island), reflecting a proven ability to originate,
package, and deliver globally scalable formats. Owain is currently executive producing “Ancient
Shipwrecks. Future Robots”- a television docuseries that showcases underwater archeologist Dr Lisa
Briggs, who just finished collaborating on a Nat Geo Special with Martin Scorcese.
Beyond traditional media, Yeoman is an active leader in educational AI, helping build a full-stack AI
tutoring platform which secured a partnership with Harper Collins publishing.
He is the creator, producer, and co-host of The TV Police: A Mentalist Re-Watch, alongside Tim Kang—a
top-1% global Film & TV podcast that has achieved #1 rankings in multiple countries since launch.
