A very important and key aspect to my life is to always keep improving my craft. I am ever passionate. Constantly learning and defining my skills in both my craft and life to me is essential for a fulfilling existence, allowing me to evolve into a stronger and improved version of myself. Values such as discipline, mental and physical health, honesty and positivity to me are paramount. Through these values I approach both my acting and martial arts training.

I, Lin He Rong, am a Dutch actor. I was born in Maastricht, in the southern Netherlands. The son of Vietnamese war refugees, growing up alongside three sisters. I studied Chinese Mandarin and Economics at Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and began my martial arts training at the age of six. Early on I learned to face and overcome challenges by accepting and confronting resistance in adversity. I still live my life by this creed, and along the way it helped me to shape and polish my creative processes. I strongly believe in the importance of balance, living in the presence, and being mindful to maximise every moment.

Two other important values to me are connecting with people through my acting and martial arts and healing myself and others, be it mentally or physically. Also working as an martial arts instructor with the aim of fostering a healthier society, is one of my abiding preoccupations. In both my professional as in my personal life I developed skills that allow me to inspire the people around me, and to connect with them. Acting in motion pictures allow me to purposefully sent my message of inspiration and positivity to a broader audience.
