Mirela plays the lead role in the short film The Day She Will Be Born has earned 10 official selections at International Film Festivals earning 2 Awards and is now Oscar Qualified and has been submitted for consideration in the 2026 Academy Awards. The short is co-written and co-produced by Bogdan Mureșanu, whose feature debut won the Orizzonti Award for Best Film at the 81st Venice International Film Festival.

Mirela is a triple threat talent and one of the most prominent faces in the Bulgarian entertainment industry. A versatile talent, she began as a professional dancer with over 20 years in contemporary ballet and multiple international awards. She continued her career into acting with credits in The White Lotus and Shattered Bonds and is currently a first-year student at NAFTA, where she was accepted at the top of the candidates list. Mirela is also a TV presenter, singer, model, and one of Bulgaria’s most followed social media personalities.
