Carol Canhisares is a Brazilian-American actress based in Barcelona. Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Catalan, she’s known for her vibrant energy and emotionally truthful performances.

Her recent screen credits include the lead role in the short film “What If?”, directed by Krishna Jaipuriya, the Atresplayer TV series El gran salto (Episode 5) and the short film Edges - featured in six festivals including the Evolution Mallorca, RIFF, and Cornwall. “Facdere”, directed by Pablo Olivares and “Quiero ser una cotorra”, directed by Amalia Casamitjana are expected to be released in the 1st semester of 2026. 

On stage, she co-wrote and performs in “Sex Therapy”, a sharp and heartfelt comedy about relationships and intimacy, with versions in both Spanish and English. Fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Catalan, Carol is known for bringing a vibrant, collaborative energy to every project and for being a true team player on set.
