Richard is an actor, voiceover artist and writer born and raised in Dublin.

He recently took on the role of Leon Tully as part of the second season of RTÉ/Hulu’s Obituary which is due to be released later in 2025.

Richard first developed his love of acting in the Players Theatre while at Trinity College Dublin and with the world-famous sketch comedy troupe Footlights while attending the University of Cambridge.

Most recently on the stage he performed as Apemantus in Timon of Athens with the Dryden Society in the Trinity College Chapel in Cambridge. He featured as Alfred in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead at Smock Alley Theatre. He completed a run of original play The Caoining as part of the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival 2024.

He has performed in a variety of projects for screen, notably in IFTA-nominated short film  Debutante and short films Attend to Your Own Mask First and A Pilgrim’s Ballad.

Richard has a deep love of languages and has previously lived in France, Japan and Canada. He is a certified C1 (fluent) speaker of French and Spanish under the CEFR European framework, has fluent Irish and conversational Japanese.
