Chris Nietvelt is a Belgian-Dutch actress with an extensive career in theatre, film and television. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory Antwerp, she has been a prominent member of Dutch ensemble Internationaal Theater Amsterdam (ITA) and former member of Het Zuidelijk Toneel and ZT Hollandia. She received the Theo d’Or in 2008 for her portrayal of Cleopatra in Romeinse Tragedies and has since been nominated multiple times for her roles in Maria Stuart and Glazen Speelgoed. On television she has appeared in acclaimed series such as De Twaalf, Over Water, and Red Light. 

Fluent in Dutch (and Flemish), French and English. 
Holds a valid EU passport for international travel.
