Teunie de Brouwer (1993) is an actress and theatre maker. She graduated from the Amsterdam Academy of Theatre and Dance (Amsterdamse Toneelschool & Kleinkunstacademie) in 2021. On stage, she has performed in productions such as AGE OF RAGE, MY MOTHER MEDEA, and CASA MIA, including Isa Hoes and Peggy Vrijens. Teunie appears in the KRO-NCRV series SIHAME (seasons 1 and 2), as well as the series PATTY on Videoland.

Teunie currently plays one of the lead roles in the television series DERTIGERS and had a major supporting role in the BNNVARA series DE RING, directed by Frank Ketelaar. In 2024 and 2025, she will appear in the sixth and seventh seasons of GOOISCHE VROUWEN, directed by Will Koopman.

Teunie has also appeared in various theater productions such as DRONKEN MENSEN, KORTHALS & STUURMAN, and the major tour of KOMT EEN VROUW BIJ DE DOKTER, which received rave reviews.

In addition to acting, Teunie is also a theatre maker. In collaboration with Theater Bellevue, her solo performance HERT premiered in 2022. HERTis a personal piece about the strange world of fear — about comforting sounds and apathetic paving stones that take a moment to listen to you. A musical solo that finds solace in the things around us.

Teunie is also a passionate dancer. In 2013, she placed second in the Dutch National Championships for Modern Dance (solo), and in 2014 she won first place in the Modern Duet category.
