Alessandro is very popular in Italy, thanks to his performances in several successful productions, such as "Maria Corleone", "Il Commissario Montalbano", "Il Bello delle Donne" and "Centovetrine". He was directed by "Gomorrah" director Stefano Sollima in "The Legend of Red Hand", alongside Zoe Saldana. In the United States, Alessandro played the lead role of anarchist Bartolomeo Vanzetti in the film "No God No Master", where he starred alongside Academy Award-nominated actor David Strathairn.
