Antra Salmgrieze is a Latvian actress based in Berlin. She studied the Meisner technique at the Actors Academy Finland and earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Screen Acting from Catalyst – Institute for Creative Arts and Technology in Berlin.

Antra’s artistic journey began in Riga, Latvia, where she worked in community theatre before pursuing professional training abroad.

Antra has participated in several short films in Berlin and played in Tartuffe as Elmire, directed by Adam Ferreira at Catalyst, Berlin. In Latvia, she took part in “So Who Will Remember Me in the End? ” by Barbara Lehtna at GIT, Latvia.

As an artist, Antra is profoundly inspired by history, seeing it as a crucial reference point for understanding how far society has come. Through her work, she seeks to explore past and present parallels and reflect on the collective human experience.
