Matteo Franco is an actor working across film, television and theatre.

Born in Rome, he moved to London at a young age and trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) and ArtsEd, after completing a BSc in Business Studies at Cass Business School, now Bayes Business School.

His screen credits include Mel Gibson’s upcoming The Resurrection of the Christ, in which he stars as Barnabas, and Steven Knight’s SAS Rogue Heroes, in which he appears as Alfredo opposite Jack O’Connell, Dominic West and Sofia Boutella.

Alongside his screen work, Franco is a member of Belgium-based theatre company Troubleyn, known for theatre marathons of up to 24 hours on stages around the world.

He lives and works between London and Antwerp.
