Originally born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and now based in the Netherlands,
the half-Kenyan, half-Singaporean Mumbi Kuguru is a multi-faced actress in both
film and theater. She has a versatile range of skills which include singing,
dancing, and stunt work. Her past works include various short films such as
Roundhouse, Echoes of Redemption, and a repertoire of plays from Aaron Sorkin’s Hidden in this Picture to Tennessee William’s A Streetcar Named Desire, to William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing and most recently performed, As You Like It. Her upcoming works include GG, Beliefs, and Fatima – all set to
release in 2025.
